What system should we use on exterior mild steel? We want a gloss finish.

For exterior mild steel with a gloss finish, Marindec recommends:

  1. Primer: FPW15 Primer, Redox 130 12-361-005
  2. Topcoat: 2K Polyurethane UHB 7:1, Black 60-901-5A&B
  3. Thinner: 2K Polyurethane HB 7:1 Thinner 00-130-025

The topcoat is a two-component system and needs its hardener.

How access works

Questions

Why do I sign in with Google?

Access is tied to your Google account. When you connect in Claude, you sign in with the same account and we check it against your approved application. We never see your Google password.

Does it work with ChatGPT or Copilot?

Claude only for now. Tell us which assistant you use when you apply; it decides what we support next.

Can my whole team use it?

Each person applies with their own Google account. Use the same company name and we'll approve your colleagues together.

Does it show prices or stock?

No. For prices, pack sizes and availability, request a quote.

What do you keep about me?

Your name, email, company and answers from the application, plus a log of your requests to the assistant. The privacy policy has the details. Privacy policy

Terms of use

  1. The assistant answers from Marindec product data. Its answers are guidance: check the TDS and SDS before you specify or apply a product, and follow them where they differ.
  2. AI assistants can misread or summarise data incorrectly. For critical specifications, confirm with our technical team on +27 11 908 1056.
  3. Access is personal to the Google account you applied with. Don't share it.
  4. We may change, pause or withdraw access at any time.
  5. We log your requests to the assistant (which tool was used and what was asked of it) to run and improve the service. We don't see the rest of your conversation. Your AI provider's own terms cover your chats. See the privacy policy.
