When you only have a name
Colour names aren't standard. Two suppliers can sell quite different greys under the same name, and a fleet yellow may not match any published code. Send us a painted sample, a colour card or the code from the equipment maker, and tell us what it is for.
- A flat, clean painted panel is easier to match than a curved or weathered part.
- Screen colours are a guide only. Check against a physical colour card before you commit to a large order.
Choose the grade for your application
Fast Dry Enamel comes in grades for different application methods. The film thickness is the same, 20–45 µm dry film thickness (DFT) per coat, but drying and thinning differ.

Both data sheets give touch dry in about 10 minutes and an overcoat window of 2 hours. Thin and clean with FD thinner. For a primer and finishing enamel in one, ask about AGRIP30+.
What to send with a colour order
- The colour code, or a sample if there is no code.
- The product and grade.
- The finish you need, for example gloss.
- Pack size and volume: 5L, 25L or 200L.
- Whether you need the technical data sheet (TDS) and safety data sheet (SDS) with the delivery.
Lead time
SANS colours that aren't on our chart, and most RAL colours, are made to order. The lead time depends on the batch, and we confirm it with the quote. Larger volumes are covered under bulk paint supply.
